HOW TO REACH US
Stone Productions has been quite busy in recent weeks, from celebrity shoots to recreating a war!

We shot part of a documentary on The Carpenters for a British production company which will air later this year on Channel 4 in Great Britain. Leesa interviewed songwriter John Bettis, who wrote many of The Carpenters' hits (Goodbye to Love, Top of the World). We brought in a PAL Digital Betacam to accommodate our client's European 16:9 format. The production company was so happy with the work that they called very early one morning (about 5 a.m.) to tell us how well the footage fit in the program.

Rich was behind a PAL camera again when another British production company hired Stone Productions to shoot documentaries on the Black Hawk helicopter and the M1-Abrams tank for the show "Heavy Metal", telecast on The History Channel. For more information on that shoot, see our "Recreating History" page.

When E! Entertainment needed Barbara Mandrell's input on the life of Wonderwoman Lynda Carter for "E! True Hollywood Story," they called on Stone Productions. Previously, Stone Productions has contributed to True Hollywood Stories on Jim Varney and Mama Cass Elliott.

The company that produces "Amazing Medical Stories" on The Learning Channel hired us to shoot a segment in Birmingham, Alabama. The focus of the story is a courageous little boy who had his cancerous knee removed in an unusual operation.

NASCAR wives were the subject of an interview Rich shot for ABC's 20/20. ABC correspondent Chris Cuomo talked to Davey Allison's widow, Liz who authored a book about the women of NASCAR.

We also oversaw the live web cast and taping of Vanderbilt University's 2002 Commencement. To capture the event we used seven cameras (including a jib) and a production truck. At the same time, Stone Productions had two other cameras and another production truck at Vanderbilt University Medical School's Commencement ceremonies.

We're currently working on a nationally distributed PSA to promote string music. World renowned fiddler Mark O'Connor is the spokesperson for this project sponsored by the American String Teachers Association.

Stone Productions is also in the beginning stages of producing a music video for Special Olympics. The song, "Heart of a Lion" was co-written by our good friend, Steve Ivey of Ivey Music International.

And finally, Leesa has a new voice demo reel! You can hear it in the talent section of our website. For clients outside of Nashville, we have access to a studio with an ISDN line. If you need a professional voice for your project, whether it's a video for broadcast or corporate use, video news release, radio or TV commercial, message on hold or books on tape, check out our voice over service!
