Rich has won 12 of television’s most coveted award, the Emmy. The awards include Camera, Lighting Director- Location and Feature stories. Over the years, Rich has traveled to more than a dozen countries, shooting events ranging from the famine in Somalia, an art show in Tokyo, climate change researchers in Italy for NBC News and Oprah Winfrey’s interview of J.K. Rolling in Scotland.
Rich also jetted around the world for the nationally syndicated television show “Travel and Adventure.” As Director of Photography for the program, Rich documented action such as whitewater rafting on the Colorado River, rock climbing in the Pyrenees Mountains of Spain, and alligator wrestling in the Everglades.
“A lighting cameraman,” is a term that describes Rich well. With a large arsenal of lights on board, Rich arrives at shoots within driving range in a van that is a mini grip truck. He has years of experience lighting a wide variety of subjects on location and in studio situations but brings a fresh approach to each shoot, aspiring to give every client the best possible look and feel for their project. (see Video Clips for lighting examples and Equipment for lighting/grip package, plus other standard and available gear)
In addition to his Emmy awards, Rich has won numerous National Press Photographers Association national and regional awards, Radio and Television News Directors Association awards, plus state Associated Press and United Press International awards for photography. Rich also served on the Board of Governors of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Nashville/Mid-South Chapter.×
Leesa is comfortable wearing many hats in television: including writer, producer, on-camera talent and voice-over talent. Well before earning a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri at Columbia, she knew she wanted to be a writer. Leesa was hooked after seeing her first story in print as a tween and set out on a path that led to Hawaii, Atlanta and eventually, Nashville, Tennessee, her home for more than two decades.
Leesa began her broadcasting career in Hawaii radio before working at Honolulu’s ABC affiliate, KITV. She was featured in KITV’s consumer problem-solving segment, Working 4 You, which research identified as the most popular franchise in the market. Leesa was also a morning and midday anchor at KITV — experience that helped her land a position as an anchor at CNN Headline News. After freelancing at CNN and WSB, the ABC affiliate in Atlanta, Leesa accepted a reporting job in Nashville at the CBS affiliate, WTVF.
In 1994, Leesa left the world of news to become Publicity Director at contemporary Christian music label, Reunion Records. Her love of television and the impending birth of a baby provided the impetus for the creation of Stone Productions.
Leesa’s work has earned her one Emmy Award for Entertainment Program, one Emmy nomination for Public Affairs and six Telly Awards. Nashville’s Crisis Intervention Center also gave Stone Productions a Community Support Award for producing its informational/fundraising video.×

He’s the sort of shooter you wish you could always have on call – great company, totally pro, and always delivering those little extras in the back of shot that others wouldn’t even notice or highlight.
